Shaun Porter is a neuroscientist and health-tech strategist who turns evidence into products that improve cognitive health across the lifespan. He helped scale a structured cognitive rehabilitation program to over 25 clinics across North America, including rapid-access support for people with long COVID. Today his portfolio spans mobile, clinician-trusted cognitive assessment; sensor-based neuro–musculoskeletal rehabilitation with remote therapeutic monitoring; and brain-performance programs tailored to aging and senior-living populations. His work covers commercial strategy, clinical partnerships, validation studies, and ethical and regulatory readiness. Trained in rehabilitation sciences, Shaun has applied Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) and EEG, alongside gait and postural analysis, to investigate concussion, balance, and neurocognitive recovery. He has led grant applications, IRB submissions, and multicenter study protocols. A contributor to the Brain Economy agenda, including the G7 Brain Economy Summit, he champions patient-led development, rigorous validation, equitable access, and privacy-preserving data use.
