Mary is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and a retired corporate Public Relations professional with a lifelong passion for fitness and wellness. After more than three decades in the workforce, Mary transitioned away from corporate communications to pursue a career in health and wellness. She brings her extensive background in science communication into an emerging field of health that is finally earning the attention it deserves — menopause.

Motivated to empower and educate women through the menopausal transition, Mary trained to become a Menopause Doula and a Women’s Coaching Specialist. She then partnered with the Menopause Expert Group as a licensed Menopause Champion to educate corporate executive teams and organizations in creating a menopause-friendly workplace that supports employees impacted by menopause.

Mary holds several certifications in fitness and wellness, including Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, and trauma-informed yoga, as well as strength training, Chakras energy work, and gut-health coaching. She is currently pursuing The Brain Story Certification through the Alberta Family Health Institute.

Mary infuses all of these disciplines into her unique coaching style that inspires women to take agency over their hormonal health. Mary’s mission is to help women, particularly those with an acquired brain injury, post-traumatic stress, or neurodivergent trait, to navigate midlife with strength, clarity, and confidence without being dismissed or ignored by the medical community or in the workforce.
