Dr. Dan O’Brien, MD, MBA, PhD is an award-winning scientific and academic leader as a physician with a passion and experience for improving patient outcomes through advanced healthcare technologies. Dr. O’Brien understands the need to improve quality of care, cost, and access in healthcare. As a former Chief Medical Officer and board member for multiple healthcare startups he brings substantial experience in neuroscience, sports medicine, precision medicine, AI and medtech technology, molecular diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical and healthcare management. He has worked with several healthcare companies including being involved with successful exits.
He has an extensive physician network including relationships with leading medical experts and KOL’s around the world. He has an MD and completed his clinical rotations at Emory University, and also has completed additional coursework at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He has an MBA in healthcare management, PhD in Public health, and a B.A from the University of Notre Dame.
